Flaws

Have you really seen my eyes,
And realize one is bigger than the other?
Have you seen that I have scars in my knees,
And have you noticed my flaccid skin?
Have you seen me cry when I am sad,
And seen the mucous coming out of my nose?
Have you noticed my crooked teeth?
Have you seen all my flaws?
Because if you haven’t, you will.
And in at that moment,
Would you love me still?
Would you still walk with me
Holding my almost always cold hands?
Or will you detest me
For not being who you thought I was?
Darling can you love me
With my perfect flaws?
