To be the Wind

Sometimes is better to be the wind,
But not the lovely wind in the fall and spring.

Sometimes is better to be the wind
That slaps in winter and makes lips numb.
Sometimes is better to be the wind
That burns your cheeks in the hot summer.

Sometimes is better to be the wind
That doesn’t care what it takes in its path.
Sometimes is better to be the wind
That destroys a page before it is written.

Sometimes is better to be the wind,
To be, there, unattached and happy.
Sometimes is better to be the wind,
To not be afraid and run happily away.

Sometimes is better to be the wind
To stay and slap or caress a face.
Sometimes is better to be the wind.
The invincible, untouchable, wind.
