The Beauty of the Leaves

Consider the beauty of the leaves,
With no worries in the spring,
An array of green colors that rules them,
The symbol of new innocence.

Consider the beauty of the leaves,
When in the summer they long for the sunshine,
In the hot days they cannot resist and lose their rigidity.
The realization that things change.

Consider the beauty of the leaves,
That made it to fall dreams,
Showing their beauty in the colors of desire.
The wondrous yellows and reds,
Leaves that embraced the beauty of other colors.
A time to enjoy existence;
A time to fight for survival.

Consider the beauty of the leaves,
As they finally lose their fight in the branch,
The beauty which prevails even in the color brown,
That beauty that blends with the earth,
And makes the ground abundant.
The time to join their predecessors in the ground

Consider the beauty of the leaves,
And how they, graciously, live until their seasons end,
Leaving their beauty in the ground,
But love for future leaves to grow all around.

Consider the beauty of the leaves,
As you determine how to live the seasons of your life.
Yes, consider the beauty of the leaves,
So you won’t be scared when the wrinkles come…
